TYPES OF COUNSELING

Virtual Grief Counseling

For as long as the current Covid-19 pandemic makes it inadvisable to meet in person, we will be offering virtual grief support opportunities via phone or Zoom technology. See the full calendar of support groups here. Call (415) 526.5699 to register. Read instructions for downloading Zoom here.

Individual & Family Counseling

One-on-one counseling allows you to privately explore feelings, understand your responses to grief, and empowers you to make positive changes in your situation. We can also help couples or families learn how best to support each other after a shared loss. Visit our FAQs page to help determine if Grief Counseling is for you. Virtual option currently available.

We are not a Crisis Center.

If you are in crisis and require immediate assistance, call 9-1-1, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact your local psychiatric emergency services. To help you determine if you may be in crisis, please visit our FAQs page for more information and a list of helpful resources.

By the Bay Camp for Grieving Children & Teens

Join us in August 2022, for our next FREE By the Bay Camp for youth ages 7 to 17. Traditional camp fun mixes with age-appropriate therapeutic activities to help children and teens express grief, build trust and self-esteem, and learn to cope with loss. Check back for more details.

Services of Remembrance

These well-loved community gatherings honor loved ones who have died by sharing comforting messages, music and ritual. Traditionally we have held services in Marin, San Francisco and Sonoma counties, However, during the current pandemic, we have been offering live-streamed events open to all, which are then archived for viewing on-demand.
