Join a fun team. Make a difference. Learn new skills.
Volunteer in a dynamic and creative retail environment while supporting a greater mission. All sale proceeds from our thrift stores go directly to our Community Care Fund to support patients and caregivers most in need. Retail experience is helpful but not required. We offer training.
We are looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:
Cashiers welcome customers, answer questions and ring up sales.
Donation Processors receive, sort and price incoming donations.
Merchandisers represent Hodgepodge in a creative way arranging items in the store. Their creativity helps build visual concepts for our floor and window displays.
We hope you will join us as a patient care or thrift store volunteer.

Moving? Cleaning out closets? Donating gently-used household items, furniture, gifts, clothing and collectibles to our thrift stores is an easy way to support By The Bay Health.
Household item and clothing donations accepted at both Hodgepodge stores from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m on regular open days (or until we reach full capacity – please call beforehand if you’re coming later in the day) Come early!
We are not accepting book donations at this time.
