By the Bay Health staff were in full force at the National Clinicians Conference on Medical Aid in Dying held at UC Berkeley earlier this month, where our teams attended and presented on topics related to providing medical aid for end of life patients.
The two-day conference provided a comprehensive series of workshops that covered such topics as Clinical Training Bedside Care, Managing Social Complexity in Patients and Families, and even how to talk about Medical Aid in Dying.
By the Bay Health staff and clinicians offered their expertise in this field not only in their attendance, but by also leading workshops at the conference and presenting on topics that include “Hospices and Aid in Dying: Evolution and Future” and “Plans Change: When Aid in Dying Cannot be Implemented”.
As our organization continues to evolve and lead in the field of home health care, opportunities to showcase our level of knowledge and expertise in this area will continue to position us change makers as we look into the future.
