DEI in Action

Bi-lingual Language Teams in Spanish and Chinese
Native and fluent Spanish and Chinese speakers staff our care teams support patients and families for whom English is not their primary language. Culturally sensitive care in the patient’s primary language is provided in the patient’s home or at a care facility or hospital.
Our bilingual teams ensure that patients receive needed medical care, medicine and prescriptions, medical equipment and supplies, and help with personal care, while offering emotional support to the patient’s family and loved ones. The team trains family members how to best care for their loved one to keep him or her safe and comfortable.
Our bilingual care teams feature:

- Patient Care Binders, handouts and forms in either Spanish or Chinese
- Registered Nurses (RN)
